At Standlow Farm We have the facilities to be able to place a marquee on the grounds in the paddock at the rear of `The Barn`for your special location for your wedding reception. The paddock for the marquee is large enough to take a marquee to seat 300 people and is adjacent to the car park for easy access. `The Barn` supplies a `quiet area`, toilet and lounge and the caterers would be able to use the spacious kitchen in The Barn for additional space. We offer 5 luxurious cottages sleeping up to 6 per cottage and the large 7 bedroomed Farmhouse sleeping up to 14. This would enable guests to celebrate your marriage throughout the weekend with you at Standlow Farm.
Standlow Farm offers stunning views over the village of Kniveton, ideal for the photographer to take romantic pictures of the bride and groom!

Costs that you would have to bear in mind if you are looking at booking your wedding reception are

We charge £750 extra to the accommodation for the use of the paddock and the facilities for the guests. If a marquee is being erected, the whole of the accommodation at Standlow Farm has to be taken by your party. There is a charge of £10 per guest invited in addition to those staying in the accommodation up to a maximum of 25 extra guests when not hiring a marquee.
CIVIL CEREMONY VENUES
Tissington Hall
Since being granted a civil licence by Derbyshire County Council in February 2003, many couples have used Tissington Hall for their marriage ceremony. Tissington Hall can provide everything you need for a perfect day in unforgetable surroundings, from the stone-flagged hall to a champagne reception, either in one of the two drawing rooms in the seventeenth century wing or in the beautiful and extensive gardens to the west of the Hall. We would be delighted to cater for your wedding breakfast for up to 20 guests in our private dining room or up tp 60 guests in our Main Hall.
